I, Mrs. Tina Bergh, would like to announce that Dr. Amir Dadgar-Yeganeh (“Dr. Amir”) has been chosen to be the successor to my husband Dr. Brian H. Bergh’s outstanding Orthodontic practice. We are greatly saddened by Dr. Bergh’s untimely passing but are grateful to have found an outstanding young man and highly skillful Orthodontist, Dr. Amir, who was our top choice out of many qualified candidates.

Dr. Amir comes with the highest qualifications and is skilled in all phases of orthodontics, but what is most important is that he is committed to maintaining the same high quality, personal attention, and outstanding service that you have come to expect from Dr. Bergh’s excellence of care. He is very personable, kind, and an excellent communicator.

Please continue your valued support of the practice to help him during this transition and to smoothly continue patient care. You will be seeing the same wonderful orthodontic team at your visits. Please continue to refer your family and friends and do not hesitate to bring any concerns you may have to the doctor or any teams members so that they can be positively addressed.

Dr. Amir is a Board-Certified Orthodontist and has an extensive background in Orthodontics and Invisalign clear aligners. He has achieved the highest level of certification available as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Amir completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He immediately went on to attend the prestigious University of California San Francisco(UCSF) Dental School for four years, graduating with the highest honors, followed by an additional three years of graduate studies in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at UCSF. Like Dr. Bergh, he is a part-time UCLA faculty member training Orthodontic residents and is course director of the Interdisciplinary Orthodontics course at UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dr. Amir has many years of experience specializing in interdisciplinary, comprehensive, preventative, surgical, and two-phase orthodontics with InvisalignⓇ, removable orthodontic appliances, and fixed braces. He has done extensive research and studies on facial growth and development and its relationship to the temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ) disorder and airway dimension. His research was recently published in The Journal of the World Federation of Orthodontics.

Some of you may find a special connection with Dr. Amir in that he enjoys fostering rescued puppies, attending live concerts, hiking, cycling through scenic routes, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Amir and I want to thank you all for your understanding and support during this transition. Please help me give a warm welcome to Dr. Amir who is a gifted and ethical specialist who will put his heart and technical excellence into your ongoing treatment.
